Nigeria Strengthens Bilateral Ties with France on Data Governance and Digital Economy

The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) has achieved a key milestone under its Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan through high-level bilateral engagements with French digital and data protection authorities in Paris.

Facilitated by the Economic Department of the French Embassy, the meetings convened the Nigerian delegation, led by NDPC CEO Dr. Vincent Olatunji, alongside France’s Interministerial Directorate for Digital Affairs (DINUM) and CNIL, the country’s data protection authority.
