In a major step forward for connected car experiences, Audi has officially launched AirConsole’s gaming platform in select vehicle models, offering passengers fun, social games using only their smartphones. This new entertainment upgrade turns every Audi into a mobile gaming hub—no console required.
Available immediately in Audi’s A5, Q5, A6, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron vehicles equipped with Android-based infotainment systems, the feature marks a new era of smart mobility, in-car entertainment, and passenger engagement.
How Audi In-Car Gaming Works: Smartphones as Controllers
Audi drivers can now access AirConsole directly via the Audi Application Store, specially built for in-vehicle apps. Once the app is installed on the infotainment system, players simply scan a QR code on the screen using their smartphones, which act as intuitive controllers. This seamless setup ensures quick and easy access to multiplayer games during drives, road trips, or while parked.
Play Pictionary Car Party and More—Right from the Passenger Seat
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pictionary, Audi and AirConsole have partnered with Mattel, Inc. to launch a special Pictionary Car Party edition—designed exclusively for in-car play.
With support for up to four players, the game transforms any ride into a collaborative and creative gaming session.
