CloudVantage Launches Smart Tools to Tackle System Failures, Cut Costs

2 minutes read

Cloud infrastructure firm CloudVantage has unveiled a new automated toolkit aimed at reducing system downtime and improving cost efficiency for businesses.

The newly introduced features—Autoscaling and Alarming—are designed to enhance how organisations manage their digital infrastructure by providing real-time adaptability and continuous system monitoring.

Announcing the development, the Chief Executive Officer of CloudVantage, Muhideen Ashiru, said the solution addresses a long-standing challenge faced by many Nigerian businesses: balancing system stability with operational costs.

“Businesses have often had to choose between risking system crashes during peak demand or overspending on unused server capacity. Our autoscaling feature eliminates that trade-off by automatically adjusting computing resources in real time,” Ashiru explained.

He likened the technology to a thermostat that intelligently scales up capacity during traffic spikes and scales down during low usage, ensuring companies only pay for what they use.

Complementing this is the Alarming feature, a 24/7 monitoring system that tracks infrastructure performance and sends instant alerts when issues arise. This allows technical teams to respond proactively and resolve potential problems before they escalate into major service disruptions.

According to Ashiru, the innovation is built to give businesses greater control, flexibility, and peace of mind. By automating complex infrastructure processes, organisations can reduce the workload on IT teams and focus more on innovation, growth, and customer experience.

The launch underscores CloudVantage’s commitment to delivering scalable, locally relevant cloud solutions tailored to the evolving needs of businesses across Africa.
