With these licenses, Flutterwave is now authorized to operate in 34 U.S. states and territories, offering users in the U.S. a faster, safer, and more accessible way to send money to Nigeria, Ghana, and Egypt.

These moves form part of Flutterwave’s larger goal to become a global payment and remittance powerhouse, offering Africans at home and abroad robust, compliant, and innovative financial tools.

What This Means for the African Diaspora

The expanded availability of Flutterwave’s Send App makes it significantly easier for Africans living in the U.S. to:

  • Send money home faster and more reliably
  • Support family and business needs in Nigeria, Ghana, and Egypt
