Ghana’s Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eLearning Africa, officially confirming Ghana as the host country for the 18th edition of the eLearning Africa Conference. The event is scheduled to take place in Accra from June 3 to 5, 2026.
Ghana’s Commitment to Digital Learning Innovation
The conference is set to position Ghana at the forefront of education technology (edtech) across Africa. It will bring together leading experts, educators, policymakers, and innovators from both the continent and around the world.
According to Honourable Clement Abas Apaak, Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Education, “This partnership is a significant milestone in Ghana’s ongoing educational transformation.”
Apaak noted that the event will highlight key national initiatives such as:
- Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP)
- Education Strategic Plan (2018–2030)
