Gozem Launches Mobile Money Platform to Deepen Financial Inclusion in Togo

Gozem, the Francophone Africa-focused “super app” known for its transport and e-commerce services, has officially launched Gozem Money, a new mobile money platform designed to strengthen financial inclusion in Togo.

Developed in partnership with NSIA Banque Togo, a subsidiary of NSIA Group, one of West Africa’s leading financial institutions,  the new platform brings secure, accessible, and inclusive digital financial services to millions of Togolese users.

Expanding Access to Digital Finance in Togo

The launch of Gozem Money marks a significant step in bridging the financial access gap for underserved populations in Togo. Many Togolese citizens remain outside the formal banking system, facing challenges such as limited branch access, high transaction fees, and complex account requirements.

By leveraging its existing digital ecosystem, Gozem aims to make mobile money services simple, affordable, and widely available, especially to small business owners, gig workers, and rural users who rely heavily on cash-based transactions.

Seamless Transactions Through the Gozem App

Gozem Money allows users to perform a wide range of financial transactions directly through the Gozem app, including:

  • Sending and receiving money instantly
  • Paying utility and service bills
  • Conducting secure peer-to-peer and merchant transactions
  • Managing balances and payments seamlessly within one platform

This integration transforms the Gozem app from a mobility and delivery service into a comprehensive digital financial platform, supporting both personal and business financial needs.

Strategic Partnership with NSIA Banque Togo

Through its collaboration with NSIA Banque Togo, Gozem combines technological innovation with financial expertise to create a safe and compliant digital payments environment.

NSIA’s extensive banking network and regulatory knowledge complement Gozem’s digital infrastructure, ensuring that transactions are secure, transparent, and aligned with financial inclusion policies in the West African region.

Driving Financial Inclusion and Fintech Innovation in Francophone Africa

The introduction of Gozem Money underscores Gozem’s ambition to become a regional leader in fintech innovation. Beyond Togo, the company plans to extend its mobile money services to other Francophone African countries where access to traditional banking remains limited.

By embedding financial tools within a familiar and trusted app ecosystem, Gozem empowers users to save, transact, and participate more actively in the digital economy. This move strengthens its position as a key enabler of inclusive finance and supports Africa’s broader digital transformation agenda.
