Huawei’s Full-Stack Data Center Solution Earns ESG Validation for AI-Era Performance

Shenzhen, China — February 4, 2026:
Huawei’s DCS Full-Stack Data Center Solution has passed a technical validation by Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), now part of Omdia, confirming its ability to meet the growing infrastructure demands of the AI era.

In its latest report, ESG found that the Huawei DCS solution delivers the resilience, performance and flexibility required by modern data centers supporting artificial intelligence, cloud-native workloads and data-intensive applications. The validation highlights Huawei’s approach to combining virtualization, container, data and AI modules into a unified platform designed to accelerate digital and intelligent transformation across industries.

Built for the next generation of data centers

As enterprises scale data centers to handle increasingly complex and diverse workloads, ESG noted that traditional one-size-fits-all infrastructure is no longer sufficient. Organisations now require differentiated, intelligent platforms that maximise cost efficiency while supporting AI-driven services.

Huawei’s DCS solution addresses this shift by providing scalable resource pools and intelligent management capabilities tailored for the AI era. The platform supports on-demand expansion and smooth evolution across multiple service scenarios, enabling enterprises to modernise infrastructure without disrupting existing operations.

Strong focus on resilience and reliability

According to ESG’s assessment, the DCS solution demonstrates robust resilience and service continuity, even in large-scale production environments. Key capabilities include multilayer ransomware protection through network, storage and compute collaboration, integrated data backup, high availability within sites, and disaster recovery across multiple locations.

These features help organisations maintain stable operations while protecting critical services from infrastructure failures and security threats.

Performance gains and lower costs

Performance testing using the Flexible I/O Tester (FIO) benchmark showed that Huawei’s DCS solution delivers more than 30 per cent higher IOPS, driven by optimised hardware and software integration. ESG noted that the platform can support demanding core workloads with fewer resources, helping enterprises reduce both upfront investment and long-term operating costs.

Open, compatible and easy to deploy

ESG also highlighted the openness and usability of the DCS solution, particularly its broad compatibility with mainstream devices and platforms. Huawei’s MigrationDirector tool enables seamless migration of large-scale virtual machines across environments, allowing organisations to protect existing investments while modernising infrastructure.

The report concludes that Huawei’s DCS Full-Stack Data Center Solution is well positioned to support AI-driven data center construction, accelerate enterprise AI adoption and strengthen competitiveness across sectors.
