Jumia Nigeria has officially launched its highly anticipated Tech Week 2026, rolling out a two-week nationwide campaign packed with discounted technology products across multiple categories.
Running from March 2 to March 15, the campaign is themed “Tech Products for Less,” reflecting the company’s push to make essential digital devices more affordable for Nigerian consumers.
Wide Range of Deals Across Tech Categories
Shoppers can access significant price cuts on a broad selection of products, including smartphones, laptops, home entertainment systems, gaming devices, wearable tech, and household electronics. The campaign also features portable power solutions and health technology products, catering to both everyday and lifestyle needs.
Customers will benefit from curated recommendations highlighting top smartphone deals, must-have accessories, gaming essentials, and home upgrade options — making it easier to find value-driven purchases.
Boosting Access to Technology
Speaking on the initiative, the CEO of Jumia Nigeria, Temidayo Ojo, said the campaign underscores the company’s commitment to improving access to technology in the country.
“Technology has become an essential part of everyday life, and access to the right devices enables more people to participate fully in the digital economy,” he said, adding that the platform remains focused on enhancing customer experience while expanding access nationwide.
Flash Sales, Games, and “Explosion Days”
The campaign will feature interactive elements such as flash sales, brand days, live shopping sessions, and gamified experiences including treasure hunts and product-based games.
Two major highlight periods, tagged Explosion Days, are scheduled for March 6 and March 13, offering limited-time deals across select product categories.
Leading brands participating in the campaign include Samsung, Oraimo, EcoFlow, Nivea, Silver Crest, and Aeon, offering a diverse mix of tech and lifestyle products.
Driving E-Commerce Growth
Jumia noted that the initiative is part of its broader strategy to deepen e-commerce adoption in Nigeria by improving product accessibility, strengthening logistics, and enhancing the overall digital shopping experience.
Customers can access the deals via the Jumia mobile app or website, with early teaser promotions having run from February 16 to March 1 ahead of the official launch.
As Nigeria’s digital economy continues to expand, the company says campaigns like Tech Week are key to bridging the gap between consumers and affordable technology.
