Oracle and Alphabet’s Google Cloud have announced a new partnership that will integrate Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence models into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle’s suite of business applications.
The agreement, revealed on Thursday, will allow software developers and enterprise customers to use Gemini AI for generating text, video, images, and audio directly within Oracle’s cloud ecosystem.
Gemini AI to Power Oracle’s Business Tools
Under the deal, businesses using Oracle’s enterprise applications — including those for corporate finance, human resources, and supply chain management — will have the option to embed Google’s Gemini models into their workflows.
Oracle customers will also be able to pay for Gemini AI services using their existing Oracle Cloud credits, making adoption seamless for enterprises already using Oracle’s infrastructure.
Following the xAI Partnership Model
The move mirrors Oracle’s June collaboration with Elon Musk’s xAI, reinforcing Oracle’s strategy of offering multiple AI model options instead of relying solely on its own AI technologies.
This flexible, multi-model approach enables customers to choose the AI tools that best fit their needs while staying within Oracle’s cloud environment.
Strategic Win for Google Cloud
For Google, the partnership is another step toward expanding Gemini’s presence in the enterprise market and competing with Microsoft Azure in the battle for corporate AI adoption.
By tapping into Oracle’s vast enterprise customer base, Google aims to drive wider usage of Gemini AI and strengthen its foothold in the rapidly growing AI-powered cloud services space.
Financial Terms Not Disclosed
Neither company disclosed the financial details of the deal, including whether any direct payments would be exchanged.
