PUBG MOBILE Expands in Africa: Local Servers, Cultural Features, and Regional Tournaments in 2025
PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is doubling down on its commitment to African gamers with a major regional expansion. Under the theme “For Africa, By Africa,” PUBG MOBILE has introduced new local servers, culturally inspired in-game features, and continent-wide community events—all designed to enhance gameplay while celebrating African identity.
Local PUBG MOBILE Servers Now Live in Nigeria and South Africa
For the first time, PUBG MOBILE has launched dedicated servers in Nigeria and South Africa. This upgrade delivers:

Players can now wear the new Maasai Shuka-themed outfit, inspired by the vibrant colours and cultural significance of the Maasai tribe. It’s a bold fusion of fashion, heritage, and competitive gaming.
Afro Frenzy Emote
Inspired by the viral Mapangale dance from TikTok, PUBG MOBILE has introduced the Afro Frenzy emote. This new emote brings African pop culture directly into the game, letting players celebrate in style after every win.
Mancala Mini-Game
Soon, players will enjoy a digital version of Mancala, one of Africa’s oldest and most popular board games. This feature honours African heritage while offering strategic fun outside of battle mode.
