Upskill Universe, in partnership with HP and Google, has launched a groundbreaking digital education initiative titled “Skills for Business”, designed to empower 10,000 Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria and South Africa.
The program aims to deliver hands-on training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital marketing, and e-commerce, helping entrepreneurs and small business owners compete more effectively in the digital economy.
What Is the “Skills for Business” Program?
Announced in early July 2025, the “Skills for Business” initiative offers free digital skills training tailored to the unique challenges faced by African SMEs. The core focus areas include:
