ARCO Worldwide Services Limited has partnered with global drone manufacturer DJI to accelerate the adoption of advanced drone technology in Nigeria, marking a major step forward for the country’s aerial security and surveillance capabilities.
In a statement released by the company, ARCO confirmed it has become Nigeria’s first authorised DJI Enterprise reseller, positioning the indigenous firm as a central hub for accessing the Chinese technology giant’s professional drone solutions.
Boost for security and infrastructure monitoring
Through the partnership, ARCO will provide direct access to DJI’s advanced Matrice and Mavic Enterprise drone series, which are designed for large-scale industrial and security operations.
The drones are expected to support a range of applications across Nigeria, including border patrol, rapid-response surveillance, and infrastructure protection. Authorities and private operators will also be able to deploy the technology for monitoring oil and gas pipelines to curb theft and vandalism, as well as conducting high-precision aerial mapping for agriculture and construction projects.
“This partnership with DJI Enterprise marks a defining milestone for our company and for the Nigerian drone ecosystem as a whole,” said Okosubide Mozimo, Managing Director of ARCO Worldwide Services.
“We are proud to lead and set the precedent for a rapidly growing economy.”
Regulatory compliance and local expertise
As a subsidiary of ARCO Group Plc, the company noted that it is among the few indigenous drone service providers fully licensed by both the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority and the Office of the National Security Adviser.
According to ARCO, this dual certification ensures that drone deployments meet strict aviation and national security regulations, providing clients with reliable and legally compliant technology solutions.
Chief Operating Officer Ann Temidara said the partnership will also guarantee authenticity and operational support for customers.
“When an agency buys from us, they aren’t just getting a product; they receive manufacturer warranties, certified maintenance, and the assurance that the equipment is genuine and compliant with Nigerian law,” she said.
Expanding access to advanced drone systems
The company said the partnership followed an extensive vetting process and strategic alignment with DJI’s enterprise technology standards.
Business Development Executive David Ofoluwa explained that becoming the first DJI Enterprise partner in Nigeria was part of a broader effort to streamline access to cutting-edge drone technology.
“Being the first DJI Enterprise partner in Nigeria is the result of a focused effort to provide world-class drone solutions in a compliant and fully supported manner,” he said.
ARCO confirmed that a full range of DJI enterprise systems—including the Matrice 350/400 RTK, DJI Dock 3, and the Mavic 3 Enterprise series—are now available for purchase through the company.
