Sony and Honda have unveiled the Afeela 1, their first electric vehicle under the Afeela brand, at CES 2025.
This luxury EV will be available in two trims: Origin ($89,900) and Signature ($102,900).
Pre-orders are open in California with a refundable $200 deposit, and deliveries are set to begin in mid-2026.
Features of the Afeela 1:
- Autonomous Driving: Equipped with 40 sensors, including cameras, lidar, radar, and ultrasonic sensors, enabling advanced Level 2+ driver assistance.
- Range and Charging: Offers an estimated 300 miles per charge and supports Tesla’s Supercharger network for convenient long-distance travel.
- Interior Design: Includes a panoramic dashboard screen, Sony’s premium surround sound system, noise-canceling technology, and an AI-powered personal assistant.
- Exterior Design: Features a sleek, aerodynamic design with a “Media Bar” on the front to display vehicle updates and charging status.
- Customization: Available in black, white, or grey exterior colors with black or gray interior options.
This launch marks Sony Honda Mobility’s entry into the competitive luxury EV market, aiming to rival industry leaders like Tesla and Lucid Motors.
